The Story Behind Battle Toss®
Battle Toss® started in 2017 as a backyard prototype built by founders Debbie and Russell Horner. When it stole the show at a family gathering, they knew they had something special. They refined it to be smaller, stronger, and easier to play—without losing the competitive fun.
Today, Battle Toss brings people together everywhere from backyards to bars.

BATTLE TOSS®
The game kept evolving—and in 2019, Battle Toss® earned its U.S. patent, followed by a registered trademark. For years, every unit was handcrafted in Russell’s wood shop in Brook Park, Ohio, with Debbie and Russell traveling to fairs and markets to sell directly to players and build a loyal fan base.
In 2023, Disruptive Products LLC acquired the global selling and marketing rights to Battle Toss®, refining the design and preparing it for scale. The official nationwide launch followed on July 10, 2024—bringing Battle Toss to players everywhere.
